Logroño to Ventosa
We said goodbye to Madeleine early this morning as she began her return to Dublin. Her company and her ability to spot good tapas bars will be missed. Our walk today was in the red soil of the La Rioja wine region that begins on the outskirts of Logroño. We enjoyed the sun and a lunch in Navarrette that included another regional cider. The church in Navarrette was open and we had a look at the Baroque style floor to ceiling alter it features. We are spending the night at the Albergue San Saturnino in Ventosa.
